Would you like to have arms that you can really be proud of? One of the best ways for you to be able to do this is to work your triceps effectively. Although there are other arm muscles that you need to be concerned about, and most people to place a lot of emphasis on the biceps muscles, it is the triceps that are really going to define your arm and to make it larger, if that is your goal. Our personal favorite is using the rope, getting an extra squeeze at the bottom by a keeping the thumbs together and putting up palms toward the floor.
Another awesome tricep exercise that is excellent is the kickback. Many people work their tricep muscles to perfection with this exercise but as with anything, you need to make sure that your form does not get sloppy. If you’re doing it properly, you will feel it in your triceps almost immediately. If you stop feeling it, you have allowed your form to go astray. It may be necessary for you to lower your weight, as a lower weight that is done properly will do much more for you than a heavier weight which is thrown around.
Finally, dips are some of the best tricep exercises that can be done, and they can be done anywhere that the opportunity presents itself. If you’re at the gym, you will probably have a dip machine that you can use in order to mimic this type of exercise. When at home, simply do them on the back of two chairs for a quick tricep pump.
